On April 14th of 2010 a devastating earthquake hit the eastern Tibet area in Kyegundo, a region of Kham. The official death toll as of now has reached 2000 and the number could be higher. The earthquake registered a magnitude of 6.9 on the seismic scale. Tibetans and our supporters all over the world are holding candle light vigils to mourn the sad loss of life. We will be gathering at the Salt Lake County building to hold our vigil and raise funds to help with the relief effort.
